About the Academy

Lineage

Pengzu (篯鏗) is revered as the forefather of Daoist Yangsheng; Xufu (徐福), a Qin-era court physician, is said to have sailed east with a retinue of artisans — a foundational legend of the cultural exchange between China and Japan.

Mission

Japan Pengzu Academy Co., Ltd. carries the heritage of Pengzu Yangsheng and traditional Bigu fasting through the classical "Yī Zǐ Xiāng Chuán" lineage transmission. Five bases worldwide, one curriculum, one set of assessments.
