The Historical Origins of the Pengzu Secret Arts
Pengzu, surnamed Jian and given name Keng, was the great-grandson of the ancient Emperor Zhuanxu and a son of Lu Zhong. According to the Records of the Grand Historian and the Biographies of Immortals, Pengzu attained the age of eight hundred and mastered the Way of Wellness. The arts he created were secretly transmitted across imperial dynasties — never shared with commoners, but passed only through oral vows from one successor to the next, thus preserved unbroken for millennia.
The Structure of the Six Pengzu Arts
The Pengzu Secret Arts comprise six disciplines: Yin-Yang Harmony (the master principle of qi-blood regulation), Standing Post (the foundational method of gathering qi through stillness), Breathing Inner Alchemy (the cultivation of internal energy through respiration), Dao Yin (the gymnastic clearing of meridians), Meridian Clearing (the esoteric technique for resolving the stagnation of the twelve meridians), and Herbal Dietary Therapy (the daily nourishment of the body through food). All six are mutually reinforcing; without any single one, true yin-yang harmony remains unattainable. Their integration is the true essence of Pengzu wellness.
Why They Are Now Transmitted Publicly
Since antiquity, the Pengzu Secret Arts were reserved for emperors and inner disciples alone. The third-generation successor of our age, Master Aiqing, has resolved to open the six disciplines to general learners for the first time in history, holding that the Way is not to be privately hoarded nor the Dharma left to languish in solitude. This is a singular event unseen for a thousand years. All who aspire to the path of wellness may enter the Institute and cultivate systematically.
The Transmission Sequence of the Institute
The Institute follows a three-stage, nine-layer transmission sequence. The initial stage is the Foundation Layer, entering through Standing Post and Breathing. The middle stage is the Meridian-Opening Layer, with Dao Yin and Meridian Clearing as its core. The highest stage is the Harmony Layer, culminating in the Yin-Yang Harmony Art. Practitioners advance from shallow to deep in measured steps, only thus attaining the unity of the six arts and the oneness of body and mind.
When all six arts become one, the true essence of Pengzu wellness is realized; lacking even one, yin-yang harmony remains unattainable.
Both the General Training Course and the Inner Disciple Mastery Course of the Institute follow the Six Pengzu Arts as their teaching framework. May all who share this affinity ascend the shore of the Way together and bear witness to the wondrous truth of wellness.
